To inform you of how we collect, store, and safeguard your information, we provide this Privacy Policy explaining our practices, as well as how your information is received and used by Gamers Outreach. We pay close attention to how information about our visitors is used and shared, and we use that information carefully and sensibly.

Information We Collect

When you visit the Gamers Outreach website or make a donation online / offline, you may provide us with personal information such as your name, address, email, phone number, credit / debit card information, user IDs and passwords, age, gender, and product preferences that you knowingly choose to disclose. We collect this information for various purposes, which may include fulfilling a service, (such as issuing donor receipts) reviewing a volunteer application, maintaining donor records for tax purposes, or to engage in communication with you (such as through email newsletters, or if you simply have a question). Gamers Outreach does not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us. Information you provide to us is retained and used in accordance with existing laws.

Gamers Outreach monitors web traffic using Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies and other similar technologies to collect information related to the use of our website and to report trends. This information is collected anonymously, and the information does not identify individual visitors. How We Use Information

There are specific circumstances where you may supply information to Gamers Outreach (such as making a donation, applying as a volunteer, receiving an email newsletter, or registering for an event). In such a case, your information is only used for that intended purpose. Gamers Outreach will not disclose your information to any third party without your consent, unless it is required by law (see Legal Disclaimer below). If you submit an email via our general contact address, we will use your return address only to answer email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purposes.

Personally identifiable information is stored securely through our servers and is not publicly accessible. Your information is only accessible to Gamers Outreach staff on a “need to know” basis. For example, information you submit via a volunteer application may be reviewed by our senior management to evaluate appropriate involvement opportunities. However, your information would not be made accessible to other internal parties unless absolutely necessary (e.g. an emergency medical situation). To prevent unauthorized access, we have put in place managerial, physical, and electronic procedures to keep information secure. Sensitive data such as credit card numbers are protected using industry-standard SSL encryption.

The tracking data we monitor via Google Analytics is used to monitor the number and frequency of users to the website. We also use Google Analytics to gauge the effectiveness of our website, and gain an understanding of how content is perceived on our site. Again, information we collect through the use of Google Analytics does not identify you personally.

Links to Third-Party Sites

Throughout our website, there may be links to other websites owned and operated by third parties. Gamers Outreach is not responsible for and has no control over the privacy policies or the content of any such third party website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those sites prior to providing them with any information.

Legal Disclaimer

We may disclose personal information when required by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to comply with legal process.
