Gamers Outreach's trip to OffKai Expo 2026

With the success we have every year with VTuber Summer Slam, staying engaged with the VTuber community is something we love.
Upon learning about OffKai Expo, we knew we had to check it out last weekend, and our marketing team and Director of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising came away very impressed.
What is OffKai Expo?
Held in the San Francisco Bay Area, OffKai Expo is North America’s first and largest VTuber convention, bringing both fans and talent together for meet-and-greets, panels, concerts, and more.

While we didn’t have the usual informational booth that we bring to conventions, we had a fun time rolling a fresh new GO Kart around the expo floor, talking to both attendees and exhibitors about Project GO Kart and other Gamers Outreach programs and events.
VTubing For Good
Gamers Outreach was fortunate enough to be a part of a panel hosted by longtime supporters Angora and Neba. Titled “VTubing for Good: Charity Streaming for Beginners,” the panel provided an excellent guide on how to stream for charity.
“One thing I really liked about the panel was that the tips they provided can be used for anybody streaming, not just VTubers,” said one of the attendees who approached us after the panel.

The panel went over everything from getting started to finding the right charity, to what to do if you’re not quite hitting your goals, to dealing with negativity, and more. We hold four big charity streamathons a year, including VSS, and left the panel more than satisfied with both the content and the response from the more than 30 attendees.
OffKai Expo 2027 is actually slated for the weekend after Gamers for Giving. We’ll very likely be looking forward to the possibility of recruiting more VTubers for VSS next year, so stay tuned.
Next Destination: PAX West
If you missed us at OffKai Expo, we’re headed up to the Pacific Northwest from September 4-7 for PAX West. Not only will we be there with more members of our staff at our booth, but we’ll also be participating in Pinny Arcade for the first time! We haven’t shown off the pin yet, but you’ll definitely want to be around for this LEGENDARY piece!
