Spooktacular Streamathon is back!

Now in its seventh year, Spooktacular Streamathon has helped Gamers Outreach celebrate streamers, creators, and gamers as we work to bring video games and entertainment to kids in hospitals around the world. This year’s Spooktacular will take place from October 15 to October 31. That’s 17 days and two weekends of spooky season fun!
As Gamers For Giving is the biggest event of the spring (and year), and VTuber Summer Slam is our biggest event of the summer, Spooktacular Streamathon is our biggest event of the fall. Most participating creators will stream spooky video game sessions, but this form of FUN-raising isn’t limited to that!

Are you an artsy person? Do a live drawing stream! Are you a TikTok dancer? “SHOW ME YA MOVES” for a half hour! If there’s anything you can do that’ll encourage people to support Gamers Outreach, we wanna see it!
If you haven’t signed up or indicated your interest already, head to our Discord server and mention you’re interested in participating in Spooktacular!
Impact & Vision
Halloween is known for scariness, and while hospitals often add to that, at Gamers Outreach we want to see the wholesomeness of it all. We believe video games in hospitals should be normal because they can be a tool for healing, and the happiness we see children get with the press of a button can mean everything.
When we say Spooktacular is the biggest event of the fall, we mean it. Over the past three years, this event has helped Gamers Outreach raise over $1 million to support our programs and foundation, and we look forward to seeing our community reach new heights.

This year alone, we’ve already shipped 358 GO Karts to hospitals around the world, and as we enter the final quarter of 2026, we know Spooktacular can help boost that number heading into the holidays.
Our GO Kart fleet stands at over 3,022 GO Karts. These GO Karts are estimated to have around 23,000 daily play sessions and over seven million play sessions annually. Events like Spooktacular help others level up.
How to Get Involved
If you’ve read this far, congratulations! You know what Spooktacular is all about. 🎃
The event wouldn’t be possible without community members like you, so whether you have an hour or the full 17 days, or you can fundraise $1 to $1,000, we’d appreciate any amount of participation!

Here are all the ways to be a part of Spooktacular…👀
Stream
Our Talent Managers are still looking for creators, streamers, gamers, and supporters, new and old, to get involved. Again, you don’t have to be streaming scary games. You don’t have to be doing scary stuff at all! Stream whatever you think will entice people to support you!

There’s no hard time commitment. Stream whenever you want, and we’ll help you in any way we can! We'll join all your stream chats, and we look forward to seeing you shine.
Watch
Don’t stream? No worries. Go visit someone else’s streaming page and help them reach their fundraising goals simply by engaging! An active chat means so much to our streamers, so join the fun with a positive attitude!

You can find creators sharing their participation by searching the #SS2026 hashtag on X or Bluesky, or by heading to our Tiltify page to see who’s online!
Donate
This is the most direct way to support. You can donate directly on Tiltify, or donate to your favorite participating streamer. All of this counts toward our Spooktacular total.
Contests
During Spooktacular, we have two awesome community contests you can join. More details on each are on Discord, so be sure to check there.

Our Spooktacular Art Contest highlights our community's creativity and skill as they create mascots and other Halloween-themed art! The winner will have their art featured on the donor card of all GO Karts donated through Spooktacular funds.
The Spooktacular Costume Clash is for community members who want to show off their creativity through their themed fashion and/or cosplay! Winners will win fabulous prizes provided by our sponsors.
Share
Last, but certainly not least — if you can’t donate, stream, or watch our participants, you can still support the event by sharing everything and anything with your friends, family, and network.
Every bit of awareness helps us reach more people and make a bigger impact, and perhaps they can get involved next year! Be sure to follow us on our X, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky feeds to stay caught up on all things Spooktacular with the #SS2026 hashtag!
Spooktacular Teams & Events
We’ve seen a lot of creators team up lately, and we love the effort every member brings to the table with these collaborations. Sometimes, creators even make their own events to support Spooktacular. Here are some to look out for!
Skyblock Kingdoms
We love our Minecraft creators, and Skyblock Kingdoms is looking to make their mark! Their family-friendly SMP plays out entirely in a skyblock void world, and we look forward to seeing what they bring to the table during Spooktacular from up in the friendly skies!

Easy Allies
We’re happy to have Easy Allies (EZA) back once again! EZA is an independent video game media group formed in March 2016 by former GameTrailer employees. Primarily Patreon-supported, EZA has created all sorts of outstanding video content while also producing some of the best podcasts in the industry. We’re thankful to have had them support Spooktacular since 2021.
Build Fright
2026 marks the fourth year of Build Fright, a Minecraft Tournament event! During Build Fright, content creators and community members join forces in a custom Minecraft world to build haunted houses, terrifying statues, and all sorts of gloomy goodness while streaming all that live for donations! Is a Gamers Outreach house made of Spooktacular popcorn in the works? Who knows?!
Balatro Battles
For the third year in a row, MurphyObv is bringing back the Balatro Battles Charity Event to support Gamers Outreach!

The last two Balatro Battles tourneys raised close to $40,000, and we look forward to seeing you in early November! Want to have your favorite streamer or creator take part in it? They have a doc open!
Have Fun!
The #1 thing we mention for our streamathon events is to make sure you have fun. Spooktacular Streamathon is one of the last opportunities of the year where our community comes together to make a meaningful difference FOR THE KIDS, and we want to make sure it’s enjoyable.

Your support makes play possible. You’re giving kids their playtime back, which helps them escape when times are tough. Every penny raised and every second streamed counts, so let’s enjoy ourselves and make the most of it.
