About Gamers for Giving | Each year, Gamers Outreach hosts a competitive gaming tournament / LAN party called Gamers for Giving. Our event brings together the gaming community for a common cause: to share our passion as gamers, and support families and children in hospitals around the country. As of this blog post, we’re just six weeks away from Gamers for Giving 2016.


Our team is working hard to make this year’s event the best yet. We’ve got a ton of announcements to roll out between now and March, so make sure you’re checking the Gamers for Giving website for all the latest news.

With that said, we wanted to share a few recent, major updates:

  • We’ve expanded the BYOC LAN party, bringing the total public count of seats to 520. Tickets are available for purchase here.
  • All headline tournament settings have been posted. Check out the Tournaments page to view the format of each event.
  • Our list of local game servers for PC attendees has been posted. CHeck out the bottom of the LAN Party page for details.
  • The event schedule has been updated. If you need an overview of when to be at the event, check out the Schedule page.
