Few companies have changed the world like Microsoft.

Each year, Microsoft employees participate in fundraising activities that support an array of charities. In 2015, Microsoft employees raised a record-breaking $125 million for more than 18,000 nonprofits and schools across the globe.

Through the “Giving Campaign,” Microsoft matches employee donations to nonprofits dollar-for-dollar, up to $15K. The Giving Campaign takes place throughout the year, with a special push every October.

This year, we’re proud to announce Gamers Outreach will be visiting Microsoft as a “featured charity” among the many causes Microsoft employees contribute towards. We’ll be hanging out on Microsoft campus October 19th to raise funds in support of Project GO Kart, and share our quest to reach more hospitals this year.

Microsoft employees can make a contribution to Gamers Outreach, and support GO Kart builds for hospitals of their preference. The commitment required to build a single GO Kart is $3,500 – which includes the cost of the cart, games, monitor, shipping, and set-up. With a Microsoft match, employees can build a GO Kart by making a contribution in the amount of $1,750.

If you’re an employee at Microsoft, we hope to see you on October 19th! We’ll likely be hanging out at the Xbox studios, but building + exact location are still TBD. Be sure to stay on the lookout for any internal communications that get sent out!

Hope to see you soon!
