Q2 of 2025 is now in the rearview mirror, so we at Gamers Outreach wanted to update the community on the status of our quest of objectives this year.
As we outlined at the end of our annual report, this year we’re looking to upgrade our infrastructure and throughput, expand Save Point, and continue supporting wishlist hospitals.
Infrastructure and throughput, upgraded
Since we now have the means to physically construct more GO Karts, increasing our ability to equip those units with devices and software is essential. We’re still in the midst of upgrading our processes to ensure the devices and software that company GO Karts can be prepped at a quicker pace.

So much room for activities… and GO Karts, and Save Points, and Lenovo Legion monitors!
The main way we upgraded our GO Kart infrastructure and throughput was by finally getting a warehouse. We just signed a three-year lease in the Ann Arbor area, which will make planning for Gamers For Giving a lot easier, while paying homage to our Michigan roots. Having this warehouse allows us to centralize operations for GO Kart shipments, in-kind donations, and logistics for the Save Point program.
Now that the warehouse is finally here, we’ll also be looking for volunteers who can help us out with various tasks there. If you’re in the Ann Arbor area and want to help us, definitely be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities!
Big Save Point updates
We recently have been awarded a grant from the Bill Simpson Foundation that’ll fund the installation of two new Save Point machines. This is huge for us as the Save Point program continues to grow.

New backend software development for Save Point has also begun, and we anticipate it to go into effect early next year. With that, we’ve begun building a hospital wishlist for facilities interested in having their own Save Point machine. Would you or any healthcare facilities you’re in touch with have a need for a Save Point? You can request one here.
Continuing to support wishlist hospitals
Project GO Kart is obviously our flagship program, so continuing to accomplish last year’s goal of fulfilling the needs of wishlist hospitals remains high on our priority list.
We’re proud to announce that we’ve shipped another 160 GO Karts in Q2 to go along with the 134 shipped in Q1. That brings our total to 294 GO Karts shipped in the first half of 2025. We’ve been on a pace to ship more than one new GO Kart a day, so how did we get there?

It’s a pretty simple answer: You! After fundraising $1.76 million at Gamers For Giving, $545,000 at VTuber Summer Slam and all the other charitable donations we received throughout the year, especially from teams like Hermitcraft after their event at Mojang and TARP having the presence they had at GFG, we’ve seen great numbers and are very thankful for all the support.
The 294 GO Karts shipped last quarter support up to an estimated 852,000 gaming experiences annually. That’s over 2,336 gaming experiences a day! It’s only been half a year, so we look forward to hopefully doubling that impact when 2025 becomes a thing of the past!

Keep It Up!
We’re nowhere close to done! Want to do more to help Gamers Outreach and our mission of bringing smiles to children around the world? Whether it’s by you kindly making a donation or volunteering at an event, or streaming, here are some of the best ways to contribute!
Be A Part Of Monthly Gifting!
Our monthly giving program, The GRID, exists for those looking to provide their support to Gamers Outreach programs year round, and we keep making it better! By becoming a member and making a monthly donation, you’ll have the ability to witness the impact of your support over time.
People in our monthly giving program are a big help, providing support for all our programs and everything in between. Whether it’s GO Kart upkeep, or the replacement of a Kart’s various parts, monthly donations are essential! You also get access to an exclusive monthly newsletter, which includes a chance to be chosen to receive a free gift! One day, we hope our Monthly Giving grows to a point where it can raise enough for a GO Kart every quarter. We’re not quite there, but you joining now would help A LOT!
Be A Player 2
Player 2 is our volunteer initiative that pairs gamers with opportunities to give back at hospitals by playing with young patients. What better way to bring enjoyment to a child in the hospital than playing a video game with them?
