What is Spooktacular Streamathon?
Spooktacular Streamathon is our biggest fundraiser of the fall, now in its sixth year, taking place on October 22-31. On these last 10 days of October leading up to Halloween, Spooktacular celebrates streamers, creators, and gamers of all kinds as they support our mission of bringing video games to healthcare facilities for children all over the world.
If you know about the Gamers For Giving Streamathon or VTuber Summer Slam, Spooktacular is a similar idea. While the majority of participating creators will be streaming their spooky video game sessions, you don’t have to do that at all! You can draw, you can dance–whatever you think will get people to support Gamers Outreach!
SS Impact & Vision
At Gamers Outreach, we believe in a world where video games at a healthcare facility shouldn’t be a rarity. Medical professionals shouldn’t be scary, and hospitals shouldn’t incite fear. Healthcare facilities should be a place of healing, and we think video games can be a huge part of the healing process. When kids are playing, they’re laughing. When they’re laughing, they’re smiling. Smiles provide everyone involved the magic of relief.
Spooktacular is one of our main ways of turning the generosity of our supporters into magic for the kids. Gamers Outreach is all about that magic by providing the power of play through the programs below.
We have shipped close to 300 GO Karts in 2025 already, and we’re hoping our community can make that number grow faster than you can say wingardium leviosa!
More than 2,500 GO Karts make up our global fleet. These GO Karts are estimated to have around 20,000 daily play sessions and over seven million play sessions annually. How much farther can we take it? Let’s see what our community can do this year!

How Do I Get Involved?
Now that you know all about Spooktacular from what it is to who it supports, are you ready to step up and get involved? The event wouldn’t be possible without the help of you, the Gamers Outreach community. Whether you only have an hour or the full 10 days, or a dollar or $100, there are all sorts of ways to support the Streamathon.
Stream
Our Talent Managers are still searching for creators, streamers, gamers, and supporters new and old to get involved with SS. If you’re interested in streaming, you can hop on our Discord server and ask. Our Talent Managers will be online ready to assist!
Still too early to commit? You can join during or late into the streamathon–just make sure someone on the talent crew knows!

Maybe you’re not a streaming kind of person. It’s all good. You’re more than welcome to tune into your favorite creator’s stream and help them reach their fundraising goals by donating to their streams or encouraging others to do the same.
