For the first time in our over 18-year history, Gamers Outreach is actively taking part in Giving Tuesday, and you’re invited to support in any way you can!
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is celebrated in the United States on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving every year. Initiated in 2012 as a form of hashtag activism, #GivingTuesday is “a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
This absolutely aligns with what we do at Gamers Outreach. We help others level up by empowering hospitalized families with video games. Doing this allows us to make hospitals less scary and isolating, while also giving kids their sense of normalcy back.
As an old teammate used to say, “This community proves that doing good can be just as fun as gaming itself.” The fact that it’s such a transformative action is just the cherry on top for us.
Our 2025 Campaign: Play It Forward, Power Up Joy
At Gamers Outreach, we want our philanthropy activations to be mission-driven, story-led, and community-focused.
“Play It Forward, Power Up Joy” is a mission-first campaign powered by simple videos from Gamers Outreach’s Board of Directors, Advisors, and Community Champions.
Our Giving Tuesday campaign begins on November 26. On November 28, we’ll begin our “8 Days of Play.” During that window from November 28 to December 5, you’ll see videos from members of the Gamers Outreach community. These videos will tell stories about why play matters, what a GO Kart really does, and more. Through these real-life stories, we hope both new and old supporters of our mission take action by supporting our “Play It Forward, Power Up Joy” campaign.
Helping goes beyond simply making a donation. You can really help us out by spreading the word about what we’re doing, too.
How You Can Support
Supporting “Play It Forward, Power Up Joy” begins and ends with our landing page at https://gof.gg/PlayItForward. You’ll be able to make donations and share the campaign with your loved ones using this page.

Donating directly to the “Play It Forward, Power Up Joy” campaign is the easiest way to support us. Just choose an amount to donate and have your credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or bank transfer details ready. You also have the option of Monthly Giving, which we’d love even more.
Sharing Is Caring
There are all sorts of ways to share our Giving Tuesday campaign. Aside from sharing or posting the link wherever you please, you can also click the Share button, followed by the Facebook, X, Text, or Email, and edit the copy to your style! You can also share the link through a post or story on Instagram if you’re on the landing page using a mobile device.
It doesn’t stop at just the Giving Tuesday landing page either. Our “8 Days of Play” videos will be posted on our social pages, and every re-share and re-post you make helps! Maybe you want to participate in “8 Days of Play” yourself with your own video? By all means. We’re all in this together!

During this giving season, we celebrate our longstanding collaboration with Electronic Arts and their commitment to the positive power of play. EA understands how meaningful video games can be to create moments of joy and connection for children receiving medical care around the world. Now, our friends at EA have generously donated to keep the momentum going.
Their donation is going to level up our work, helping advance our mission and extend our impact. With their support, we plan to deploy more GO Karts overseas to support our global child life teams, expand access to play for children around the world, and strengthen the global connection between gaming and healing.
Giving Thanks
