2025’s Spooktacular Streamathon has come to a close, and this year, our community’s efforts have raised over $300,000 to help bring the power of play to hospitalized kids around the world!
Let’s talk about how we got there. From the excitement of seeing everyone hit their goals to the surprises we see when you all engage in milestone activities, we absolutely love opening the box of chocolates that is your direct support of our mission to help others level up.
“This community proves that doing good can be just as fun as gaming itself.”
That’s a quote from one of our community members, and it’s one that’s always resonated with the foundation. Fundraising is hard work, but the Gamers Outreach community excels at making it enjoyable.
Hundreds of creators and their communities offered their generous support for another fun Spooktacular, and we cannot be more thankful for you.
To the creators, the dedication to your craft of entertaining your audiences and followers is always a heartwarming experience. To the viewers and followers, your time and support in watching your favorite creators and streamers will never go unnoticed.
The festive energy and care for the cause shined through all the laughs, screams, and stories shared in Discord and our socials this month. The effort you take and make with your content makes the event what it is, and we can’t be anymore appreciative. Outstanding job!
The Streamathon Numbers Are In!
Hold on, it’s taking forever for the popcorn to get us the envelope.
And without further adieu…

This year’s 10-day-long Spooktacular Streamathon raised an amazing $326,696! That’s a lot of popcorn. Kidding, of course.
This $326,696 will seriously go a long way to for Gamers Outreach. This is what that money will do:
- Continue to fund GO’s Programs and Initiatives
- Bring more GO Karts to hospitals worldwide.
- Maintain and upgrade existing GO Karts.
- Bring more prizes to Save Point Machines.
🥇 Spooky Wins
Spooktacular is about more than just streaming and raising funds for our programs. We want our community to have fun and flex what makes them unique, so we have both the Costume Clash and Art Battle to be excited about.
With the results of each contest still being tabulated, we’ll update the blog as soon as the winners are announced.
Costume Clash
First, our Spooktacular Streamathon Costume Clash! Being that this is a Halloween-event, we HAD to give some love to the costumes! So whether they’re IRL or just a design someone made, we wanted to give these their due!

Art Battle
And of course we have our Art Battle! What’s on the line? The opportunity to have some personal Spooktacular art on this year’s donor card for the fleet of GO Karts funded by the event. Imagine your art immortalized on a GO Kart. It’s not spooky, it’s legendary.
With the results of each contest still being tabulated, we’ll update the blog as soon as the winners are announced.
Sponsors
Our incredible partners supported the event through prizes, donations, and wholesome community engagements that really give Spooktacular a special feel.
Thank you to Cooler Master, HyperX, Bisect Hosting, Lenovo Legion and Ghost!

Whether it’s sponsored donations or awesome prizes for our contests like the MasterHUB or HyperX headsets, we really appreciate all the assistance from these amazing partners! It’s always a real joy seeing the excitement streamers have when they see a donation from a sponsor and the fun chat that follows. These are the wholesome vibes everyone needs to see more of every day, and we love having our partners there for the call.
Support Isn’t Scary
Spooktacular season may be over, but it’s never too late to support. There are all sorts of ways to support our mission of bringing smiles to children and their loved ones worldwide, and here are some of the coolest ways!

Grab Spooktacular Merch
So what if Halloween is over? Purple, orange, and black are still stylish! We will have our full line of Spooktacular Streamathon merchandise available to purchase until November 7. It’s the most fashionable way to support Spooktacular. Wanna save it ’till next year? No worries, the year isn’t on this merch for a reason! 😉
Consider Monthly Giving
One thing we love about Spooktacular is the fact that we’ll always find a new supporter who hasn’t heard of us. So maybe someone hasn’t heard of The GRID, our monthly giving program that also gives back to you!

Joining now can get you these amazing perks:
- Monthly GRID Newsletter (on top of the general Gamers Outreach newsletter)
- The GRID Newsletter also frequently includes an opportunity for a free gift!
- Early Access to Gamers For Giving Tickets
- Invites to Quarterly Calls with both the Gamers Outreach staff and special guests
- And more!
Our goal with Monthly Giving is for the program to one day be able to fundraise enough for a GO Kart every month. You joining can get us one step closer to making that a reality!
Be A Player 2
Player 2 is a volunteer initiative that pairs gamers with opportunities to give back at hospitals by playing with young patients. What better way to bring enjoyment to a child in the hospital than playing a video game with them? Note: You don’t have to dress up as Master Chief to be a good Player 2, but it certainly helps.😅
Follow our socials.
Every bit of awareness helps us reach more people and make a bigger impact, so be sure to follow us on our X, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky!
🎄 More Festivities Abound
We hope you all enjoyed this year’s Spooktacular Streamathon, as it was just another delightful time. But while we may be done passing out candy, we’re not done passing out smiles.
There’s two months left in 2025, and there’s still plenty of work left to do for us until the holidays! GRID members have a fun call to look forward to next week. We’ll also be at Holiday Matsuri in Orlando in December.
SAVE THE DATE: Jolly Jamboree ☃️
So you feel like there’s more to stream that can ever be seen? We got you.

On December 11–14, we’ll be hosting our Jolly Jamboree! It’s another quick holiday-themed stream before the new year! Didn’t have enough with Spooktacular? Come back and fundraise for us for the holidays.
Keep gaming, streaming, creating and smiling FOR THE KIDS!
Always helping others level up,
The Gamers Outreach Crew
