This weekend, we’re taking over the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center to host one of the Midwest’s largest gaming events – Gamers for Giving 2016!
Our goal? Raise $100,000 to build GO Karts for hospitalized children across the country!
If successful, we’ll be able to construct and deliver more GO Karts than we’ve built in all our previous years combined.
That’s where you come in! We need your help! Chasing down $100,000 is the largest fundraising goal we’ve ever set for ourselves. But we know it can be reached with your support!
If you’re able, please consider making a donation in support of the cause! Donations can be made through our main fundraising page, located here.
You can also start a fundraising campaign of your own! Read about our new fundraising platform, and help raise funds to build a GO Kart for your favorite hospital. You can download a custom Gamers Outreach donate button for your Twitch page here.
Unable to donate? You can still help! Spread the word on social media, and use the hashtag #GFG2016 to keep Gamers for Giving hype going strong! We’ll be streaming the event live on http://www.twitch.tv/GamersOutreach. Tune in, share the stream, and help spread awareness!
If you’re near Michigan, swing by the EMU Convocation Center. The event is free for spectators, and we’ll be accepting donations on site. Our schedule of activities can be found on the Gamers for Giving event website, located here.
Undergoing medical treatment can often be a scary experience, especially for young people. There is a special need for age-appropriate coping tools inside pediatric hospitals. GO Karts re-establish a sense of normalcy for patients and families. They provide an outlet for activities, socialization, and relief during long-term treatment. With your help, we can make a long-lasting difference for even more patients and families in hospitals across the nation!
We hope you’ll consider making a donation in support of the cause. Let’s help others level up!
