VTuber Summer Slam 2025 Recap

Events | July 1, 2025

VTuber Summer Slam 2025 officially wrapped up last night, and we couldn’t wait to share the results with you.

Every year, we come away impressed by the passion and commitment that spreads good vibes throughout this event. It’s always a lot of fun seeing streamers hit their goals and deliver awesome content to their audiences. It’s even better knowing that so many of you participated for the sake of supporting our mission of bringing the gift of gaming to kids in hospitals around the world.

You, the Gamers Outreach community, truly made this our biggest event of the summer. Thanks to you, we’ll continue to reach new heights and make a significant impact in the lives of children.

Impact

VTubers have always been a huge part of the Gamers Outreach community, especially when it comes to fundraising. We hope everybody involved enjoyed themselves as much as we enjoyed celebrating you and your content.

The best part about VTuber Summer Slam is seeing our community, VTuber or not, come together and support each other. Thanks to your fundraising efforts and contributions, we raised $545,489.23! Half a million in five days. That’s absolutely outstanding!

You all have played a pivotal role in bringing joy and comfort to countless children and their families. As we always say, each GO Kart is more than just a gaming station. GO Karts represent a rays of hope, a much needed distraction., and a means to escape from the fear and uncertainty that hospitalization is typically known for.

Gamers Outreach exists to make the power of play in healthcare facilities an expectation, not a luxury, and you’ve brought us one step closer to making this a reality.

Strength In Numbers

(This is last year’s VSS Mural of Participation. We’ll be sure to update the blog with the new one as soon as it’s ready! Hang tight!)

VTuber Summer Slam 2025 boasted over 1,500 participants, and we can’t thank you all enough.

If you streamed, thank you.
If you donated, thank you.
If you watched your favorite creator, thank you.
If you raided a VSS stream, thank you.
If you played a game on someone else’s stream, thank you.
If you shared any of our #VTuberSS2025 content, thank you.
If you talked about the event with any of your friends, thank you.
If you participated in any way, shape, or form, thank you.

Seriously. Thank you. Our mission wouldn’t mean anything without the people that support it, and having over 1,500 people help lead the way there? It’s extraordinary! We’re lucky to have a community like this one.

Fun Moments

This year’s VSS was full of huge moments. Our social team was on a different mode during the event, crafting post after post with over 60 clips posted from people’s streams. It was impossible to get everything, but a lot of nice moments were also featured in the recap video at the top of the blog.

Another fun moment came when our friends at Do Not Peek Entertainment took part in Shipwrekt 2: Buccaneer Boogaloo, their pirate-themed Dungeons & Dragons escapade to raise money during VSS. Participants included Michi Mochievee, K9 KURO, and Ironmouse. It was a hilarious time that netted over $22,000! Look at the cats on their shoulders!

One of our partners, Bisect Hosting, also created a Minecraft server just for VSS that the community was able to use for their streaming pleasure. In addition to their fun content, creators took the opportunity to take fun selfies like the one you see above.

Art Contest

This year’s VSS Art Contest was as competitive as ever, so if you submitted any art, give yourself a round of applause. There was a lot of great art, and we wanted to give everybody a spotlight on a bunch of the submissions above.

We don’t have the winners quite yet, but when we do, we’ll be announcing who won on our socials. For now, we also wanted to thank Shure and Antlion Audio for the awesome prizes they provided for the contest.

In addition to those prizes, the first place winner will also have their art featured on this year’s VSS donor cards. These donor cards will be featured on every GO Kart that got funded by the event.

Sponsors

Let’s take some time to show some love to our sponsors. This year we were lucky enough to have Bisect Hosting, Shure, Antlion Audio, and VTube Studio as partners for VSS 2025!

Thank you to our fantastic sponsors for making VSS 2025 another great event!

Update Your Wardrobe

VTuber Summer Slam 2025 may be over, but the summer has literally just begun!

The VSS Apparel Collection is still available to purchase for a limited time. It’s the first time that we’ve offered tanks and cropped tops, so beat the heat with our merch! The best part is we didn’t even feature the year in the logo, so this swag is not only limited, it’s timeless!

This is your absolute last chance to support the event in the most fashionable way, because once they’re gone, they’re gone!

VSS merch evaporates on July 11th!

Consider Monthly Gifting

If you’d like to continue giving on a more consistent basis, we’d recommend getting involved with Monthly Giving. Monthly Giving supports our programs and everything in between, while enjoying a more personal relationship with our foundation.

Those enrolled giving at least $10 a month get exclusive perks like invitations to quarterly calls with the Gamers Outreach to hear and talk about all the latest happenings with the foundation, early access to tickets for Gamers For Giving, and other benefits. Members this month are being entered into a drawing to win free VTuber Summer Slam apparel, so there’s just one of a bunch of reasons to be enrolled in Monthly Giving!

See You Soon!

Despite the holiday, there won’t be much time to rest for us. Thanks to the $545,000+ you raised, our teams will be hard at work making sure more GO Karts are placed in more healthcare facilities. On top of that, we’re already getting ready to greet gamers at huge events this summer like Evo in Las Vegas and PAX West in Seattle. We’ll also be at TwitchCon in San Diego this fall!  If you plan on being at those events, seek out our booth and say hi! You might leave with even more Gamers Outreach goodies!

Until then, please stay tuned for additional updates on our social feeds. Our next big fundraiser will be in October, and it’s none other than Spooktacular Streamathon, so we hope you’ll be ready for the Halloween treats!

Once again, HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY in our amazing community for making this another great VSS! More children and their families worldwide get to smile all thanks to your effort. Seeing everything you did over the last few days is a special kind of wholesome that will never go unnoticed.

Let’s continue helping others level up!

Always CONTINUE, it’s never “Game Over”
