We’re excited to share the Gamers Outreach family is expanding!

Today, we’re proud to welcome two new board members to our leadership team. Both of these individuals bring a tremendous amount of knowledge and talent to our organization. We’re so glad to have the chance to introduce you!

First, we’d like to welcome Heather Stone.

Heather is an entrepreneur and pioneer in the business world. She has over 28 years of experience in the fields of asset management, tech and finance. Currently, she plays a key role within an investment group called Capstone Holdings, managing a portfolio of companies worth over $400 million. We’re super excited to have Heather with us as we scale Gamers Outreach programs to new levels.

Next, we’d like to welcome Dr. Juan Espinoza!

Juan is a pediatrician, clinical researcher, and champion for technology & innovation in healthcare. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Innovation Studio at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Aside from that, he’s involved with a variety of organizations working to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities in pediatrics.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Heather & Juan to the crew. Our leadership team helps ensure Gamers Outreach is fulfilling its potential. We’re on a quest to make play readily available in hospitals, and our board are active participants in guiding our efforts.

Finally, it’s with fond wishes we announce the departure of one of our longtime directors, Brent Koning. Brent has been a board member with Gamers Outreach for the past 6 years. During his time with us, he played a key advisory role, helping us deploy entertainment experiences across hundreds of U.S. hospitals. We’re proud to count him as one of our supportive alumni, and wish him all the best.

That does it for leadership updates! Be sure to stay tuned to GamersOutreach.org for news in the coming months as we work to expand the impact of our programs. And of course, if you’d like to get involved, check out our Donate page for ways to help!
