Last summer, out of 15,000 applicants, Gamers Outreach was 1 of 5 organizations selected to receive a “business makeover” grant sponsored by PayPal and Microsoft.
As part of the grand prize, we had the chance to work with a super cool group of people from a marketing agency called “Swirl.” In partnership with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, we brought Swirl into the hospital environment to capture the daily movement of a GO Kart, and share the impact being made in the lives of kids we support.
The video below is one of the final cuts of footage that came from our visit. We’d like to give a big thanks to the staff and kids at Children’s Oakland for allowing us to tell the stories being created every day within the hospital. We hope this content will provide some insight into the life of a GO Kart, the kids we’re honored to support, and the incredible staff responsible for everyone’s well-being.
